The Ergon slingshot boasts exceptional ergonomics, yet its design caters specifically to an "around the fork" rubber attachment technique. This approach proves satisfactory with tubular rubber, although some users prefer a more dynamic approach. \r\n\r\nFlatbands outperform their tubular counterparts, and many enthusiasts swear by the "over the top" method for attaching flatbands. While flatbands tend to wear down faster than tubes, incorporating circular tops can redistribute stress, thereby minimizing wear on the bands' sides. In light of this, I've made several adjustments to optimize performance. \r\n\r\nThe accompanying .scad file may not render optimally within Thingiverse's viewer, but rest assured that it functions as intended; its simplicity stems from my limited work in this area.
