GrabCAD
The proposal is based on the design of clamps for holding and gripping a camera, in the style of Festo clamps. These clamps are used for handling the camera during the packaging process.
Using the Addictive App Suite application, these clamps were generated by inputting the camera model and, based on input variables and some settings, creating a 3D model of printable clamps. This model is also adaptable to a Festo clamp-type drive, allowing the clamps to be adjusted to the drive's movement, thus enabling gripping and release.
A mounting plate was also created, which can be used for transporting these cameras. That allow them to be transported during the packaging process, and in turn, they will be placed by the clamp that is actuated by the Festo cylinder.*
"That clamping and insertion plate is 100% printable, therefore it would be another component within the packaging line, which could be an automated line in any production company, where we have two components: one is the clamping clamp adaptable to any pneumatic drive, and the insertion plate where it can be attached to a conveyor belt with several bucket-type inserts."*
