For rounded corner 4-inch hinges with 4 holes, you'll need to install one or more of these shims between the door frame and the hinge to reduce the gap between the strike plate and the latch bolt. These shims can also be used to re-align sagging doors where the bolt doesn't settle in the strike plate because it's too high or too low. To fix doors that bind on the last few inches of closure, you'll need to insert these shims into the hinge mortises, which were cut too deep. The shim is 1mm thick and can be used multiple times or scaled up for other thicknesses. Installation instructions: Remove the upper and lower hinge screws and loosen the center screw enough to insert the shim. Then retighten all three screws to secure it in place.
