This welding pull-up clamp design is specifically engineered to work seamlessly with 1" round tubing, making it an indispensable aid for tubing fit-up and tack welding. The fastener thru-holes are carefully designed to accommodate M8 or 5/16" hardware, providing a secure and reliable connection. Although the full assembly is optimized for 1" tubing, the clamps can be effectively used on 1", 1.5", and 2" tubing due to the varying radii employed in the clamp sections. The design's clearance allows for at least two tack welds to be applied to the tubing, and some welding torches may even fit between the strongback standoffs for a full four-tack welds. However, it is not advisable to complete the weld with these clamps installed if printed from PLA. An update will be provided once the designs for 1.5" and 2" strongbacks are completed.
