Round push key for indoor privacy lock
thingiverse
A simple push key for interior doors featuring round privacy locks. We grew tired of scrambling around for a skinny screwdriver or lollipop stick every time we locked ourselves out of our bedroom, so I quickly designed this in Blender. To open a door using this style of lock, simply insert the long end into the hole and push the base from your thumb. For reference, I've included a picture of our own doorknob. The base measures 27mm in diameter and 4mm thick while the rod is 4.35mm in diameter and 33mm long. This design was created specifically to fit perfectly in our doorknob, so you may or may not need to adjust the dimensions for your locks. You can download the original Blender file and make any necessary adjustments. UPDATE: I've uploaded a modified version with a chamfer for added stability. My test prints have done well without one, but now it's an option if you're concerned about breakage.
