Round NEMA23 Stepper Motor Cover for Machmo Steppers

This is a cover for the back end of a round NEMA23 stepper motor from Machmo. It requires 2x #4-40 1 inch long socket head screws to attach it to the rear of the motor and accepts 1 GX16-4 connector (16mm diameter round 4-pin connector commonly available for around $1/piece on EBay). There is plenty of room to wind a little bit of extra wire inside and it will be protected from the motor shaft. Instructions This is loosely based on another stepper motor cover I have seen on Thingiverse, though nothing was exactly copied from it I was thinking of it when I designed this. Slide the nut over the wiring, pass the wiring through the hole in the cap, solder the wires to the connector then push the connector back into the hole and tighten the nut to hold it in place. Then wind the wiring into the empty cavity around the center protection sleeve as you place the cap on the motor. Finally install the 4-40 screws to hold the cap tightly on. I had to press the cap firmly to one side to get the screw holes to line up to start.
