Round Montana PPE Mask

Update. v3.1 now boasts significantly larger eyelets designed to snugly accommodate wider elastic bands, ensuring a comfortable and secure fit. This innovative design still prints with remarkable ease, requiring no support material in either PLA or ABS. Our adaptation of the Montana mask by Dr. Zaugg and friends has been meticulously refined to feature a round filter hole, courtesy of Brian's insightful suggestion. We've also added a ribbed ring to securely fasten a circular 60mm pad against the retainer lip. With a simple tool, crafting round pads from filter paper like that used in HVAC Air Handlers type MERV14 and above is a breeze. For optimal results, we recommend using MERV16 filters. As an alternative, you can also use cotton pads like those found in make-up removal products, although they may not meet health standards. When printing this mask, consider adding a bead of silicon around the edges if it doesn't fit snugly. Printed with PLA at 20% infill and moderate settings (60 bed temperature and 200 nozzle temperature), linear infill yields excellent results. ABS or PETG also produce great outcomes.
