Your Creativity and Color Choice Make this Simple Design Pop!
I really love the sleekness of this pot paired up with the self-watering insert (linked in the remix). Have some left over filament, use it as an accent. I have been enjoying mixing matte and silk filaments to get different contrasts. Simply set a filament change in the slicer or manually do it from the printer.

Filament Recommendations
For the photos in this model, I have used Overture Matte White and Teal PLA with accents from Eryone Silk Gold. The black and gold pot are Polymaker PLA+ with Eryone Silk Gold accents and the insert printed in Overture Silk Gold PLA. I find the Overture Silk Gold PLA works better for structural prints and is cheaper where the Eryone works great for accents. The self-watering insert can be printed at 15% infill as it doesn't need to be water tight however the pot should be printed at 100% infill. See my notes below and on the self watering insert page for more information.

Print Settings that Worked for Me

.15-.2mm Layer Height
I find this to be a good number for speed and quality. I'm sure .3 would work well too but more noticeable layers.

100% Infill
I recommend setting 100% infill to make the pot water-tight. You can paint Titebond III Ultimate Wood Glue on the inside if you have leaking issues.

Set Perimeters to 6 lines or More for Vertical Shells (optional)
I find setting this in the Slicer gets smoother sidewalls and a tiny bit faster print over an infill pattern.

Planter Insert Note: I didn't scale the Self-watering Planter Insert that I link to in the remix as it was designed for the default size. You can scale the insert and pot down or up pretty easily to fit you needs.

Let me know your results or thoughts?
I'm starting to design more planters. I'm playing around with shell thickness to maintain water-tightness but also keep filament as low as possible. I used a thinner shell on this pot to save filament and to speed up time. I find this works well for this design but may be problematic if scaling down too much. But if you have different experiences, let me know!
