I printed all the tubes and coupler lying down. They get deformed at the ends by warping a bit, but it does not matter much when stuck together. If you don't have such a large printing bed, you can try printing standing up, but the tube won't be as sturdy in crashes then. The base I butchered together from another design https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2987519, which isn't (my remix, not the original) great but works. Tubes can be printed with PLA as long as you print the couplers with something elastic like TPU. They provide the robustness in crashes. Base I would suggest printing in TPU with supports too. Infil of the tubes almost does not matter, would not use less than 12%
