Round foot for #6 bolt square nut (parametric)
thingiverse
Create a foot fitting for PCBs or other items with a #6 square nut in its base and a bolt at the top. Rework the SCAD file or adjust parameters as needed, then save it as STL, slice, and print. The default settings are for a #6 hardware, square nut, and 1/2" bolt hole, but adjust accordingly to match your hardware size. If your printer is tight on holes, drill out the bolt hole. Insert the square nut flush, then use a long bolt to pull it up through the hole if needed. Place your PCB or item on top of the bolt hole and screw in the real bolt for assembly. These feet print vertically with a wide end up, creating support, but can also be printed upside down for a micro foot or ledge for the PCB. The process may be particularly useful for OpenSCAD beginners.
