Hello, Why does a die stop rolling? Simply because it stabilizes itself on one of its faces. And if it's round outside, how would it stabilize? With non-round inner features! The desire to create such a die came after watching Mickaël Launay's (aka micmaths) video "The Ultimate Die" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-DPQ7XOHnU). v1: * In Cura, I made it stop at the 47th layer. -> I'll try to improve my impression in court next time. I think I should have redone a layer for better results. * I used sand as a stabilizer. -> Next time, I'll try using a ball instead. However, I'm unsure if printing it parallel would be feasible before finishing the first layer of the main die. * After reflection, my inner "stabilizing" shape is unequal in my opinion. -> I plan to redo it for simplicity and adaptability to a ball. * The numbers on the die seem too small to me. * I created a "raft" without supports to minimize scoring marks. However, it wasn't enough, as I also placed the 4 at the bottom to avoid raft marks: D But that didn't turn out great. * I'm unclear about the final impression. The upper part of the die appears more spherical than expected. I think a re-print might be necessary to address the issue with the first layers. If you have any ideas, it would be great!
