After your flat cable snapped, the replacement will indeed be a round cable - one that's stronger and can handle more stress. Unfortunately, the RF100 v1 wasn't designed for this type of cable at all. That's why I created this holder kit to resolve the problem. To secure it in place, you'll need to thread the clamp into the holes on the cable holder extruder backside. Attach both holders to the extruder's threads and glue the support part to reinforce them. The support is necessary because there's a gap between these holders. Simply insert the round cable and tighten it - that's it. The Kabelhalter X-Achse (round cable holder x-axis) is designed specifically for attaching the cable to the x-axis.
