myminifactory
Round-bodied stone axe from Hallsberg parish, Närke. This particular round-bodied axe is the most widely used type from Sweden's Late Mesolithic period, however it remained in use well into the Middle Neolithic era. As is typical with round-bodied axes, this specimen from Hallsberg has a highly polished edge while its body was finely hammered throughout.\r\n3D scanning by Xenter 3D technician Midori Åstrand\r\n ______________\r\nThis object was digitally scanned by Historiska, The Swedish History Museum
