Round Belt Pulley

I designed this compact pulley system specifically for use on a miniature CNC milling machine's spindle, allowing me to easily adjust the spindle speed while maintaining maximum motor torque output. The ingenious simplicity of step pulleys lies in their ability to provide variable spindle speeds without sacrificing any motor power. In my experiment, I utilized a large O-ring as a belt and was impressed by its performance.
