Rough Stone - Rough Ashlar
thingiverse
Scanned a genuine stone using FabScanPi. Removed imperfections and refined the scan with Meshlab. Increased the scale of the model in Blender to make it more cubic. In FreeCad, I designed and cut out a part, installed the cube, and exported the STL file for 3D printing. The first two images show the "stone" cast in different types of concrete, while the third image shows it made from chocolate. I printed the models with a layer thickness of 0.2 mm, except for the medium-sized replica which was printed with 0.1 mm to achieve a smoother surface, as this model served as the mold for creating a silicone casting form.
