Rough 'n' Ready Broadlink RM Pro Holder
thingiverse
This is my take on a Broadlink holder. I threw something together quickly this morning after my previous holder broke, the one designed by MNGNZ with thing number 2243225. It was the third copy of his design that I'd printed and they all failed in the same spot. So I figured out that as much as I liked the minimalist style it wasn't working for me. Whether that's a problem with my printer or more likely the nut that operates it is up for debate. But since there was only one other design on Thingiverse that didn't meet my needs, I decided to create my own from scratch. I started with the single screw fixing from MNGNZ's design because I liked that feature. The rest of the design was created entirely new without looking at the old one. After printing it out, I realized the vertical tongue was a bit longer than I'd envisioned and was sticking out behind the RM Pro. So I reduced the length in the STL even though I won't be printing another unless this one breaks. I printed it flat on the build surface and used supports which created a very small support underneath maybe two layers that you don't actually have to remove in practice.
