Rotozip RZ20 mount for MPCNC
thingiverse
Update 4/14/2016: My MPCNC is up and running, but not yet finalized. The mount has worked well so far on various thicknesses of MDF and plywood (1/4" or less) with two small carbide burrs (1/8" and 0.1" diameters). I took estlcam settings from the MPCNC site guide. I plan to find an existing vacuum shoe mount for other tools and modify it to clamp to the RotoZip, which may not be the final mount I use. I'm pleased with how it's working so far. This is a new RotoZip RZ20 mount designed for the Mostly Printed CNC by AllTed, fitting the Universal Mount by HicWic. It combines elements of this RotoZip Mount by cor5151 and the Maxi Mount from HicWic's set. The design prints separately and snaps together; I added superglue to the keyhole for extra security. My model was printed at 70% infill with PLA, using "Support Type: Touching Build Plate" in Cura for the inner top clamp part. I'll add pictures once I've tested it more thoroughly, as I'm still calibrating and preparing my MPCNC.
