RotorX Atom v2 - GoPro Session Mount
thingiverse
I designed a custom mount for my GoPro Session to attach it to the Atom v2, which includes both a framed and unframed option. The unframed mount is versatile enough to work seamlessly with or without a case on the session, and I'm confident it will also support other cameras as well. To print this mount, you'll need to use supports. Once printed, attach it to your Atom v2 by securing the back two canopy screws and using an additional screw through a pre-drilled hole in the front. I took extra precautions to minimize vibrations, so I applied foam 3M tape under the mount for added stability. When attaching the mount, I recommend removing the canopy first, then pushing the back two screws through the holes from underneath. Next, hold the canopy up to a light source and mark the location of the front hole from inside the frame. Once marked, drill the hole from within and install an M3 screw. I personally chose the second hole from the front, but you can use any of the available holes. If you decide to print this mount, be sure to post photos of your finished project for everyone to see!
