Pochari Technologies has pioneered the Vertical Embark Disembark (VED) technology for conventional rotorcraft, revolutionizing the way we utilize rotary-born aircraft. Pochari's VED enables rotorcraft to drop off passengers or cargo without landing the primary aircraft. Typically, a 5-ton class rotorcraft boasts a rotor diameter of over 40 feet, while a VED capsule is only 4 feet wide, one-tenth the size of the main aircraft. Medium-sized rotorcraft pose significant challenges due to their massive size, making it hazardous and difficult to land in confined areas like suburban neighborhoods, urban city centers, or wooded regions with numerous obstacles such as trees, buildings, and telephone poles. Exposed rotors are highly susceptible to collisions with nearby obstacles and foreign object damage from flying debris.
