rotorblade for autogyro
thingiverse
The rotorblade set is designed with two distinct components. A small hole at the nose accommodates a 2.5mm rod for both blades. The EPP333 set is specifically engineered to fit around a 7mm round spar. Almost the entire length of this set, excluding the root, features 100% infill printing. When it comes to the root section of the EPP333 set, however, things become more complex. Due to its unique geometry, the slicer software must be used to design the infill pattern. In this case, the infill starts at a high density of 100% around the mounting bolt hole and gradually decreases as it transitions into the main blade section, eventually reaching a lower density of between 10-20%. The EPP333 V2 set has undergone a redesign, featuring a 3mm nose hole that provides an even tighter fit for the 2.5mm rod. In another development related to the EPP333 series, the root ribs have been modified in the V5 iteration. These new ribs extend further down towards the root and are designed to be printed in one single process with 100% infill density.
