Rotor Riot Fatshark Fan shroud Guard Shield Protector
thingiverse
This is a mash-up of three brilliant people's ideas. The original fan guard design was created by Miles Incley, who posted it to the Rotor Riot Facebook Group. This was an awesome move, as anyone who purchased a pair of fatsharks before the feature was added now gets to enjoy the fantastic fan guard too. Daryl Tingley then took sp3cialk's design from Thingiverse and added the Rotor riot logo to it, giving the pilot maximum swag. I combined both designs so that everyone can access them easily. Miles also shared a link to Shapeways for his part in case you don't have a 3D printer and want the regular fan shroud, which is available over at his post on Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1575565). EDIT 27/5/16: Miles uploaded his Version 1.5 fan shroud with rounded corners and other small tweaks, so I added it to the options available. I also removed the blank Shroud files as they belong to Miles and you can download them from his post (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1575565). Happy printing! Print Settings Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.1-0.2 Infill: 25-100 Notes: Stack the plates to get fan clearance and use M2 screws to attach it to the fan. Clean the bottom well before installing, or you might end up with all sorts of nasty print shavings in your fan and goggles.
