The church of Sant Miquel de Lillet is situated on a low crest covered with vegetation, very close to the monastery of Santa Maria de Lillet. It is a small building of circular plan, 6.5 meters in exterior diameter and 4.7 meters in interior diameter, equipped with a semicircular apse, on the east side. The building is covered with a dome that, restored, is half-spherical, made of square stones, and the apse has a quarter sphere. There are no windows. The entrance door, oriented to southwest, provides an arch with a pointed arch and above there is a stone cross in relief. The wall of the rotunda is made of stones of different sizes cut with hammer blows. It comes crowned with a frieze of pieces, small stones, that alternate with empty spaces. The roof is made of stone slabs. There are several theories about its origin; they say it occupies the place of the primitive church of Lillet, or that it is the chapel of the castle of Lillet and even that it is the foreign church of the monastery for use by the faithful.
