A 3D Printable compass inspired by the Rotio Compass (https://rotio.co/) but fully redesigned by me. 😃 Utilize those spare and common 608 bearings you have lying around. Draw lots of circles? Don't want to fiddle with adjusting a regular compass. PRINT THIS. Two versions available, a large (2cm - 12cm radius circles with 1cm increments) and a small one (2cm - 5cm radius circles with 0.5cm increments). Top cap helps grip with one finger, and the bottom cap has a small hole that makes centering the circles easier, the bottom cap also helps the bearing rotate as it protrudes slightly. You can use the "bearing case" file to find the best fit for the 608 bearings with your specific printers, before printing the whole compass. (you don't want to waste all that filament, to then find that the bearing doesn't fit do you now.) You could use a hairdryer or heat gun lightly on the compass to make the bearing fit in if the bearing doesn't go in easily. Thanks. Hope this little thing helps make your daily life drawing circles a little bit better.
