Starter cap and Clutch chain guard merge design\nThis prototype remains a work in progress as the fit is still being tested.\nThe image shows how it has been mounted on the Kart, however the rear mounting hole needs shifting another 3mm back but the existing guard's elasticity enables it to secure temporarily.\nCurrently made from PLA with a 60% infill at high print quality level and surprisingly solid I plan rigorous testing under engine heat exposure for real-world performance then hope to transition materials to Nylon or graphene to maximize durability.
