This is a chemical reaction separator-set designed to selectively separate two materials using an actuating rod from one side. The 'Top3.stl' and the 'station.stl' components are fixed in place, while the 'Moving.stl' component serves as the slipping-surface intended for interface with the actuating rod. The primary purpose of this separator-set is to facilitate a method for separating effervescent tablets and water for use in a CO2 water rocket. As the driving rod connects with the inner plate, rotation causes the inner plate's flow holes to align with those on the bottom plate. This alignment enables water to flow from one chamber into the other, where it reacts with the effervescent tablets, producing CO2. This design is subject to modification as refinements are made to improve its functionality. The interfacing rod, which is not included but can be created using a standard aluminum extrusion found at most hardware stores, features a + shaped cutout at one end, reminiscent of an inverse Philips screwdriver and screw combination. All other components were tested via a FDM printer on PLA.
