A ring engraved with a message in binary code is perfect for unique occasions, such as an engagement ring. This design was used for my now-fiancée's engagement ring and proved highly effective. Multiple iterations were printed in various Shapeways materials, with Frosted Detail standing out due to its slight transparency. White Strong and Flexible worked but did not reproduce engravings well. The silver print from Shapeways came out flawlessly. To customize the message, modify the "text1" and "text2" variables in the OpenSCAD file using a binary conversion tool like http://www.roubaixinteractive.com/PlayGround/Binary_Conversion/Binary_To_Text.asp. After rendering, print and present as a special occasion gift.
