I decided to spice up the cylindrical lithophane by designing a simple and cost-effective rotational base that's completely safe. It works on 220V (or 110V, depending on your location and motor choice), so you won't need any extra power supplies. You can easily find all the necessary components in popular online stores or even have some of them lying around at home. To print this project, you'll need to design five unique items. Additionally, seven more elements are required for assembly. Based on my research, I estimate that buying these additional parts will cost no more than 10 euros. The folding process has been a challenge, but it's essential to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience for you. After multiple proofs and corrections, everything is now properly folded. Once you download the project files, you'll receive two separate designs (146 mm and 150 mm) along with a step-by-step photographic guide on how to assemble your rotary lithophane. You'll also find a list of necessary components with links, as well as several crucial dimensions for creating your own lithophane. Assembling the base requires only 10 minutes, making it a quick and straightforward process.
