This solution entails a stainless steel rod with a pressed/stamped end that bolts onto the original motor support bracket. The kit includes a new seat post clamp and the rod restraint, which attaches to the top of the restraining rod. For bikes with an integrated frame seat post clamp, the rod restraint directly bolts on, eliminating the need for the seat post clamp. Users can bend the rod slightly to ensure the best fit or trim it to length if needed. The rod should ideally come straight and be supplied with a plastic end cap. Since the rod is in tension when the motor is driving, it doesn't require heavy gauge material. Note that the drawing provided was rushed due to limited time for conceptualization.
