Rotating Tablet Wall Mount
youmagine
The design of this tablet holder allows for secure positioning in either landscape or portrait orientation, achieved through a rotating mechanism based on a threaded rod. It's crucial to note, however, that this design does not provide locking functionality, which means the tablet can be inadvertently rotated off its mount. To print the wall and arm mounts effectively, it is recommended to use an infill percentage of 25% or higher without support. For optimal results, consider slowing down the printing process on these components to ensure a strong thread connection between the rod and connecting parts. A suitable printing speed for this purpose could be around 30mm/s, using ABS material at a temperature of 240c. In contrast, the arms should have an infill percentage of no more than 15% to allow for flexibility during installation and removal of the tablet. Additionally, it is suggested that support structures be used with these components to prevent sagging retaining clips. Pillars were found to be effective in this regard. The wall mount requires only four suitable screws to secure it to the wall. The arm mount, meanwhile, simply attaches to the center of the threaded rod on the wall mount and tightens down by approximately three full turns. Once the limit is reached, back off one turn to allow for adjustable positioning between landscape and portrait modes. When rotating anti-clockwise, be cautious not to completely unscrew the arm mount and tablet from the wall mount.
