Rotating Quake Quad
thingiverse
I'm a huge fan of Quake 1 from ID Software, and I've been itching to create a series centered around it. Given the incredible possibilities offered by 3D printing, I figured it would be an ideal medium to bring some old-school gaming nostalgia to life. The QUAD model caught my eye - it's an awesome representation of classic Quake architecture. So, why not shake things up and give it a try? Printing it out and incorporating a motor into the design could make for a fantastic desk toy or decorative piece. If you're feeling handy, I've also included the Fusion360 file for your convenience.
