A metal rod, just 6 millimeters in diameter, will perfectly fit between the two disks after they've been carefully bent at a 90-degree angle. The round plates are specifically designed to be press-fit from both sides of the disks. Once glued to the inside of the puppet hand, these round plates take shape. The SVG file contains an outline for a four-fingered hand that can be used with a laser cutter or as a pattern.
