A simple yet practical print with multiple uses in every home, office, or workshop. Great as a gift! This design features independently rotating layers with cubicles for organizing and displaying small parts, jewelry, and other items, making it easier to disassemble and reassemble things. There are three parts to this design: the Base, the Layers, and the Top. The Base is the static part that sits on your shelf, bench, or desk. To prevent sliding or movement while rotating the layers above, place a non-slip rubber pad underneath if necessary. The Layers are the mid sections in this design, with five cubicles available for storing parts or items. Print as many Layers as you need to accommodate your requirements. The Top is similar to the Layers but without a shaft coming out of the top to accept another layer. Instead, it has a flat top. This design also features a clever "Part Sequencer" facility that helps you remember the order of reassembly when disassembling something. As you start disassembling, place the first small part in Cubicle 1 on the bottom Layer, then move to Cubicle 2 for the second part, and so on. When all five cubicles on a Layer are full, move to the next Layer and repeat the process. When it's time for reassembly, simply refit the parts in reverse order, ensuring you get the correct part when needed. This design is perfect for small items only; each Cubicle measures approximately 40mm at its widest point and narrows to 10mm wide at the innermost point over 30mm depth. Each Layer height is around 35mm, but if you need to accommodate larger items, simply increase the scale uniformly as required. The clearance between the Layer Shafts and the Layer above is just 0.35mm, allowing for smooth rotation without excess movement. On a Replicator 2 or 5th Generation Replicator, these print well in PLA, fitting together snugly and rotating smoothly with minimal effort. For even freer movement, apply silicone lubricant to the internal surfaces of each Layer Shaft. This isn't essential but improves ease of independent layer movement.
