Rotating Nozzle Platform
thingiverse
Allows to have up to four hot-ends for multicolor printing. The demo video is available at http://youtu.be/NfR9ofFEKFw. Only one hot-end at a time can be vertical and touching the bed, while all others are slightly elevated due to the tilted rotation axis (10°) and corresponding -10° angle of the hot-ends. I utilize this device with E3Dv6 hot-ends, however it should also function with any J-head hot-end provided the cooling section is not excessively large. Instructions are detailed below. Required components: Thin-section bearing: measures 40mm inside diameter x 50mm outside diameter x 6mm wide. Nema 14 stepper motor measuring 35x28mm in size. GT2 belt/pulley. Micro lever switch for rotation endstop, such as the 10x20mm variety. This system is also compatible with my modified Marlin firmware, forked from jcrocholl/Marlin, which can be accessed via: https://github.com/Edlep/Marlin/tree/feature/rotating_nozzle_platform
