You have to lead the ball towards the exit through a rotating mechanism, solving the two layers at the same time. Twice effort for your brain in this endless days.

I would rate the difficulty of the puzzle 7/10.

Print instructions

Check the object orientation if you want to slice yourself the STLs, because due the designing process, they aren't on the right position for printing (even though the GCODE files are the right position already).

This puzzle could be assembled with just 3 files (top_rotating_maze, nut_rotating_maze, base_rotating_maze), however, If you have a cheater in your family, I designed a cover (cover_rotating_maze) for use a regular transparent plastic bag, to make impossible to grab the ball once you drop it into the starting hole. Probably it's not the most appealing look, but I tried to came up with something everyone could have at home.

I additionally created a model in case you don't have a 9mm marble for playing the puzzle (ball_rotating_maze.gcode). If you want to slice the ball either the joint yourself, take into consideration you would need to duplicate the ball object to create the full sphere, since the STL file just include half of it.

Would be super nice to see what you come with!

PD: If you have any kind of improvement suggestion, i'm eager to hear it.

HAPPY PRINTING!
