Rotating Car Charger-Holder for iPhone 4 4S with Magnets
thingiverse
Certain apps on your iPhone are best used horizontally; dashboard and navigation apps being prime examples. Your holder, meanwhile, can be positioned either vertically or horizontally due to small neodymium magnets. After trimming the brim residues and installing it in the car, you'll see more photos. The kit includes 2 printed parts, 8 x 5mm x 5mm cylindrical neodymium magnets, a 19mm outer diameter-10mm inner diameter-5mm thickness bearing (though it isn't strictly necessary), an M2 screw, an M2 nut with a plastic locker, and an iPhone USB cable. Assembly is simple, requiring no additional instructions. Just remember to be careful with the magnets' polarity during insertion; if inserted wrongly, it might be tough to remove them. A quick fix: leave the part on your printer's hot bed for 15-20 minutes to let the plastic expand, then try removing with another magnet. The magnets don't need to fit snugly in the holes - the screw holds the pieces together. The phone is also held loosely in the holder to avoid scratches over time. Feel free to ask any questions!
