rotating bolt breach locking
grabcad
In my 410 shotgun design, I'm dealing with a rotating bolt requiring a 60-degree travel. The crucial position is when the bolt is at the front end of the carrier, with the extractor cut vertical and guide rail horizontal. The bolt must be prevented from initial translation until it completes its 60-degree cam path. Currently, it doesn't lock fully due to slanted cam edges on the bolt; I plan to make the cam and follower stepper instead. Additionally, there's missing material in the bolt carrier's lofted area, which I need to address. To maintain consistency, I want a constant width for both the bolt's cam and the carrier's cam path, without increasing width radially outwardly. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, and kindly ensure proper assembly of all parts concentrically.
