Rotating base for laser leveler (ADA cube)
thingiverse
Most basic laser levelers can only produce two perpendicular lines (that is, two perpendicular half-planes). Furthermore, they lack a rotating base so aligning the vertical line/plane is quite challenging.\r\nI created a rotating base for the laser leveler (ADA cube) to simplify alignment. Initially, I used DIY bearings (plastic cylinders and metal balls) to minimize friction during rotation (see illustration). Unfortunately, such rotating bases proved impractical because any vibration could alter the direction of the laser beam. Consequently, the bearings were omitted in the final design.
