Rotating 100mm VESA monitor mount

<p>I picked up a 2008 iMac from the kerbside and found it had a bad screen. Not worth replacing. But I like the aluminium foot design on these things. I have some monitors that I wanted to use for MiSTer FPGA without rotation, and rotation is pretty handy when switching between various arcade games. This 3-piece print adapts the 100mm VESA mount on most monitors via a rotating coupling to the Apple iMac aluminium foot.</p> <p>You can't really print this without supports unfortunately, and if you don't clean them off well the rotation won't work well at all. I printed this at .30 layer height as a draft and didn't expect it to be the final but it works fine. I sanded the part that connects to the monitor slightly, also applied some Tamiya ceramic grease to the surfaces that will contact. After that it still feels stiff but the monitor is a substantial lever and you should have no difficulty rotating once it is assembled.</p> <p>Assemble the two halves around the VESA mount with M3 bolts. I also used M3 bolts with nylock nuts to fasten the assembly to the aluminium foot. The VESA bolts are M4.</p> <p>The iMac foot is calibrated for a certain weight of course.
