The intent of this project is to explore the concept of a permanant magnet motor and to show why this common design cant be made to self run. ill be linking a number of videos as the project progresses right now i have the drum design and will upload more parts as the project progresses. the drum uses 40 10mm diameter, 3mm thick neodymium disk magnets, hot glued into sockets on the drum. the drum has sockets on the side for 2 608zz 22mm outer diameter, 8mm inner diameter, 7mm thick bearings. sliced in cura with gradual infill and supports touching buildplate. .15 layers I uploaded display stands... you'll need to do a bit of wet sanding to fit the axels into the bearings
