I've got a rotary tool, similar to a Dremel, with multiple attachments that can be easily swapped out. The main body of the tool is secured to a stud in my partially finished wall using an extension cord, which allows me to hold the handheld part without being weighed down by the bulk of the tool itself. I needed a holder that would quickly secure the handheld portion, allowing the extension cord to hang freely. Unfortunately, I don't have a clear photo of the entire setup yet, but hopefully this gives you a good idea. The holder can accommodate 4 attachments plus the handheld unit.
