Rotary Tool Fix and Handle
thingiverse
So I discovered this old rotary tool in my shed and it lacked a collet, making it impossible to attach any bits to it. WHAT SHALL I DO? BUY A NEW COLLET? NO WAY! I'VE GOT A 3D PRINTER! I created these three parts to fit together seamlessly and enable the rotary tool to accept a Hex-to-Drill-Chuck adapter that was collecting dust, held firmly in place by a bearing to prevent any wobbling. It works flawlessly. I also added a handle because why not? Here's how it works: 1. Attach "HexChuckRotary1 v1" to the rotary tool's shaft. 2. Cover it with "SujetadorDrillChuck1," then screw it onto the case (if it has the necessary grooves). 3. Place the handle on top of "SujetadorDrillChuck1." 4. Profit! Now, you have a hex shaft on the rotary tool and can use any hex bit you like. If you also have the hex to drill chuck adapter, then you're all set!
