Rotary Tool Bits Storage Box
thingiverse
I've seen nicer boxes for Dremel bits before, but none had a lid that impressed me. I figured if I was to drop the box, which would never happen in my workshop, it would be a disaster trying to find all the bits scattered everywhere. So I designed this one with a lid to keep everything organized. It has 2 tabs that should hold it closed, but when I printed it in PLA, they snapped instantly for me! However, I found that the lid closes tightly on the box and doesn't even need the tabs to stay shut. That's good enough for me - I use it like that. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 10 to 20% Notes: For the pins in the hinges, there's a part called "pin lock". It's like a tiny washer that locks on the end of the pin so it doesn't come out. I don't use them though - the pins aren't sliding out for me. But if you want to use them, just glue the pin locks onto the pin ends. I used support for both the box and the lid because of those little tabs. That's really the only place where they need support.
