This is a simple method to add a NEMA 17 Stepper motor to a Rotary Table: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MY9H1EO/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It utilizes a 2GT-200 belt and two timing belt pulleys, 60T and 20T. The 60T pulley was printed using PLA and is a push fit onto the graduated dial. Purchased hardware needed is: 1ea Stepper Motor 17HE19-2004S or equivalent 4ea M4 X 20 SHCS. 4ea M3 X 10 SHCS. 1ea 2GT-200 Timing Belt. 1ea 2GT 20T Timing Belt Pulley with 2 flanges for 5mm motor shaft. This was a quick proof of concept, so there is no provision to tension the belt. 60mm center distance between the pulleys seems to provide the best belt tension. May need to be slightly modified to fit your rotary table. I also wanted to retain the existing handwheel and not make any permanent modifications to the table. I added a cover to prevent metal chips getting between the belt and the pulleys. Attach with small sheet metal screw. I just printed a bracket and pulley.
