Rotary pen laser engraver

Want to engrave pens with your laser engraver? I made the design of this press because with the system with rollers it did not work very well, the pen turn on itself or jump... The design works on ortur laser master 2 and sculpfun s9 (not tried on other machines) I did the printing in PETG but PLA would work just fine. You'll need some hardware :) 1 x 16mm outer - 5mm inner bearing 8 x M3 screws (I used 12mm and 14mm) 4 x M5 screws 1 x 5mm threaded rod 1 x 5mm coupler 2 x M5 nuts Electronics side: 1 x 25mm Pancake motor of this kind (https://www.3djake.ch/fr-CH/bondtech/nema17-pancake-stepper-25mm) I printed the profiles, but you can very well use aluminum profiles in 20 x 20mm For the configuration, it's plug and play :) Just unplug the Y-axis from the machine and connect the rotary press to it. How does it work? 1 - We disassemble the rod support 2 - We disassemble the pen 3 - We insert the body of the pen on the stem against the knurl 4 - We insert the second knob to block the pen 5 - We put back the support of stem 6 - Enjoy :)
