Rotary Pen
thingiverse
Just a fun model that requires x3 Pilot G2 pens , a skateboard bearing and a little bit of tape. The pens and the bottom half of the pen casing with some tape should be inserted first. Next, use the bearing to push two of the pen cartidges back while holding the third one back with your thumb. Lastly, push the crank top on top of the bearing and attach the knob. The cavity for the pen is slightly larger than the threading of the pens, so I used duct tape to make a snug fit. I used super glue to connect the knob to the crank top and the two piece of the stand together. Update: 1/24/2021 Added a file with the stand, crank and knob together. Update: 1/25/2021 Removed the middle peg, as it was from an earlier draft. I had been removing it with a pair of pliers as post processing, so I forgot to edit the file until now. Sorry.
