Rotary Engine
thingiverse
This rotary engine model illustrates its operation, although not entirely accurate. The cut-away demonstrates all four rotors during the compression stroke. It's entertaining when sped up with an electric drill. Clearance between rotors and chamber wall is increased due to limitations of consumer 3D printed plastic. Two print options exist: a simplified version (no assembly needed, single chamber) and a detailed full version (requires gluing/assembly, four chambers). Graphite lubricant might be necessary for the latter. Good luck with your print!
