To enhance maneuverability, a servo-driven belt drive was attached to the end of a robotic component. This device enables precise control over an endpoint tool on an extended arm. A servomotor, coupled with a tensioner, rotary damper, and quick-disconnect pulley clamp, rotates the spindle assembly. The spindle is mounted within a milled bearing block using tapered bearings, a turned collar, and a bearing nut; its hollow design permits passage of wires or tubes.
