This is an updated rotary axis machine designed specifically for use with a NEMA 17 stepper motor and a laser engraver, perfect for engraving round objects. Printing has begun, and further updates will be provided once completion is achieved. Note: Although initial testing revealed some issues, the design still offers great potential. The rotation function works seamlessly, however, the Y-axis movement creates an unintended "walking" effect, causing objects to shift forward and backward instead of purely rotating as intended. This problem may be resolvable through calibration adjustments; nonetheless, a chuck design was chosen as the preferred solution. To preserve this design for future reference, the original file remains available.
