Rotary Attachment for Eleksmaker A3 Pro
thingiverse
I discovered that my Eleksmaker was enlarging images by about 3 times with its rollers, so I asked my brother to calculate the new roller design using 3/8 x 1/2 orings, and it works beautifully. To make it work, you'll need eight of them, and the holes are designed for 5/16 rod that you press into place and seal with epoxy. With the Eleksmaker having a shorter base, I redesigned the bases to include a cutout for printing bottles. This was also necessary because I only had 5/16 rod of a specific length available, and I'd drilled the holes in the wrong spot on the base. Therefore, I've included two modified bases that I used on the non-motor side. Since I use ABS plastic, the bearing holes were too small for 608 bearings, so I increased their size slightly to accommodate them. To mount the motor, I had to use M3 x 45mm long bolts for both the motor and coupler used. So far, I'm getting excellent results. I've noticed a slight wobble due to the rods warping slightly when assembling, but it's not noticeable when using the assembly.
