Rota (Roman Game)
thingiverse
I'm experimenting with a remix of Devin Montes' Rota game board. I combined his work with knowledge from 3D Printing Nerd on embedding magnets in the print. Using Fusion 360 like Devin taught, I added my own twist to the project. To create the game holes, I simply sunk them into the part. Since I only had one filament, I made 'x' and 'o' markings on the game pieces for differentiation. To insert the magnets, you'll need to stop the print before the layer covering the magnet space in both the board and pieces. My print stopped twice because I printed everything together. I used Slic3r PE as my slicer. It was a fun first creation experience, and playing this game with my kids is a great bonus. Thanks, Devin! TechxRD7
